The Jamestown Jammers were a minor league baseball team based in Jamestown, New York. The team was founded in 1994 and played in the New York-Penn League until 2014, when the team was sold and moved to Morgantown, West Virginia, to become the West Virginia Black Bears. During their tenure in Jamestown, the Jammers were affiliated with several Major League Baseball teams, including the Florida Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Detroit Tigers. The team played their home games at Russell E. Diethrick, Jr. Park, which had a seating capacity of 3,000 spectators. The Jammers had a successful run in Jamestown, winning two division titles and the league championship in 1997.
