The Hartford Yard Goats are a minor league baseball team based in Hartford, Connecticut. They are the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies and play their home games at Dunkin' Donuts Park, which opened in 2017. The team was founded in 2016 and named after the "yard goat" nickname for the small, switch engines that are used to move rail cars in train yards.
