The Houston Astros are a professional baseball team based in Houston, Texas. The team was established in 1962 as the Houston Colt .45s and changed their name to the Astros in 1965, when they moved to the Astrodome, which was the first indoor stadium in baseball. The Astros have won one World Series Championship (2017) and two National League Pennants. They play in the American League West division of Major League Baseball (MLB). The team's home stadium is Minute Maid Park, which features a retractable roof and a train that runs along the left field wall. The Astros are known for their navy blue and orange team colors, and their star logo features an H with a star in the middle. In recent years, the Astros have faced controversy and criticism for their involvement in a sign-stealing scandal.
