The Hagerstown Suns are a minor league baseball team based in Hagerstown, Maryland, USA. The team was founded in 1981 and plays in the South Atlantic League, which is a Class A league affiliated with Major League Baseball. The Suns play their home games at Municipal Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 4,600. Over the years, the Suns have had many notable players and coaches pass through their ranks, including Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, and Davey Johnson. The team has also won several league championships, most recently in 1997.
